Create your own DIY guide at http://www.howcast.com/videos/new or produce your own Howcast spots with the Howcast Filmmakers Program at http://www.howcast.com/filmmakers/apply.\n\nUse your magic skills to perform this hot trick at your next party.\n\nTo complete this How-To you will need:\n\nTape\nA playing card\nMagician\'s invisible thread\nA match\nAn audience\n\nStep 1: Tape string\n\nTape one end of the invisible string to one corner of the card.\n\nStep 2: Wrap card\n\nWind the string lengthwise around the card numerous times, moving towards the opposite end of the card to make a bed for the match.\n\nStep 3: Tape string\n\nTape the other end of the invisible string to the card.\n\nStep 4: Perform the trick\n\nPlace the card in the palm of your hand.\n\nTip: Keep your hand flat.\n\nStep 5: Place match on the card\n\nPlace the match on the card.\n\nStep 6: Cup the card\n\nWave your empty hand over the card while squeezing the ends of the card in your hand to give the illusion of the match floating.\n\nStep 7: Wave hand\n\nWave your empty hand again while slowly relaxing your grip on the card, returning it to a flat position.
