**&an sets course for Starbase where Shelac is studied\nRiker with Admiral Reynolds on subspace: Reynolds says Starfleet will not give such a valuable material back without hard evidence. After he makes it clear that they won\'t, he gives Riker the layout and security access for the crystal. Riker calls his task force.\nSCENE 8

**&an receives word that Task force 10 has fallen to the Hushnock. Scene at Starbase 347. Heavily fortified. Starfleet warships everywhere. Riker requests shore leave. Worf disables security. Riker enables portable transport and takes Shelac.

**&an.\nSCENE 9 PICARD ATTEMPTS TO LEARN HUSNOCK TECHNOLOGY\nPicard, B4, Crusher, and others board the warship. Party is in g-suits. Party splits up. Crusher finds controls. Picard goes for Crusher and B4 goes farther into the darkness. Crusher is attacked, ensign attacks creature and creature escapes. Husnock are insect-like with 6 pointy legs, worm-like tentacles, black, and slimy. Ensign gets taken away. Picard pulls Crusher into another cell and locks door. Picard says \"We\'re getting out of here\". B4 is busy downloading information. Picard and Crusher attempt to make it to the rendezvous point. Picard and Crusher are stuck in cell, romance, Picard says \"If I didn\'t have this helmet I would kiss you right now\". Door is battered by Husnock, and brakes. B4 manages to boost the transporter signal. B4 was able to bring the ensign back. The dead ensign was pale with mysterious black spots on his face.\nSCENE 10 AT SHELAC HOMEWORLD\nRiker arrives at Shelac home planet. Riker\'s Task force is standing by. Captain Bon hails Riker and says to bring the crystal back. Riker stalls for time \"I don\'t know what you\'re talking about\" all ships make a run for it. The

Ships open fire.\nSCENE 11 PICARD CONVINCES STARFLEET\nEnterprise sends information to head of Starfleet Intelligence\nSCENE 12 THE HUSNOCK RETURN\nCaptain Bon\'s fleet realizes that they have been following a hologram and heads for the planet. Two Husnock vessels engage both fleets. Both fleets coordinate attacks. Admiral Shelton orders Bon to put the crystal back on the planet. Bon hails Riker \"Captain Riker, I suggest you finish what you started!\" Six more Husnock vessels are detected. A battle harden Enterprise warps in firing weapons. Picard opens a channel \"Remodulate weapons, I am sending you the data now.\" Husnock ships are destroyed, the other ships go back to where they came from..\nCaptain\'s Log stardate 92365.0, the Shelac crystal has been returned to its former place and there is no sign of Husnock warships, once again, peace has settled.\nSCENE 13 BRIDGE OF ENTERPRISE\nPicard talks to B4, \"Let us not take for granted that what we want may become what we despise the most.
