JUDY GARLAND:EXTREMELY RARE, HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES IN WWII BOND DRIVE. 'THIS IS THE ARMY MR JONES'.

New to youtube, this rare footage has never been seen except in its original broadcast. A mystery, not sure when & where ... so, if you have any insight, please share.\nWhile there are other celebrities - James Cagney, Lucille Ball, Fred Astaire, Mickey Rooney, Greer Garson, Betty Hutton - I focused on Judy. \nThe clips of Judy were too short, too fast ... so, I slowed them down & edited for a few vantage points. The quality is a bit compromised on the edited portions - not good to begin with (especially the second clip) - but definately worth seeing. It\'s New Judy/Rare Judy, wonderful to see & an honor to share.\nThe audio I chose is appropriate to the theme: \'This Is The Army Mr Jones\'. \nWords and music by Irving Berlin, 1942.Performed by Judy Garland on \'The Pause That Refreshes on the Air\', a CBS Radio show sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company July 4, 1943.\n\nThis is the Army Mister Jones,\nNo private rooms or telephones,\nYou had your breakfast in bed before,\nBut you wont have it there any more.\nThis is the Army Mister Green,\nWe like the barracks nice and clean,\nyou had a housemaid to clean your floor,\nbut she wont help you out any more.\nDo what the buglers command,\nThey\'re in the army and not in a band.\nThis is the Army Mr. Brown,\nYou and your baby went to town.\nShe had you worried but this is war,\nand she wont worry you any more.\n\nhttp://www.youtube.com/user/MicheleBell1\n\n*No copyright infringement intended*\n*All audio/video content remains in the sole ownership of their creator*\n*For entertainment purposes only*
