Mario Kart Wii: Normal Play 150cc Star Cup Part 2

Hey peeps. I couldn\'t believe how bad I was at driving the one kart I used to love (before I discovered the Honeycoupe). Check this out:\n\nMaple Treeway:\nI actually unlocked the Fast Staff Ghost here using the Wild Wing, so I couldn\'t believe how my skills with the kart dwindled in such a short space of time (I blame Super Smash Bros. Brawl, lol). Once again, the game gets cheap by using those homing green shells, and I don\'t know why, but the kart keeps going up the sides of the track and messing me up. You see that I don\'t deliberately do it... I was sure Daisy got bumped off the bridge, but it seems the famous Super Mario Kart \"bounce back on\" glitch appeared somehow. AGAIN I get hit by another homing green shell when I managed to catch up (I so wanted to swear, but I\'m a good girl, y\'see). I get my revenge with a bob-omb and unforunately had to slow down for a POW in a precarious place (and mess up the remote shaking). I know that fake item boxes don\'t block shells, but I was in \"Andross\" mode then (\"If I go down, I\'m taking you with me!\"), and I think I got the attacker. XD I reach 1st, but lose it due to not having an item to protect myself with. Dry Bowser takes the lead, and I knew it was impossible to catch up then. It might\'ve been different if I took one of the two shortcuts, but I\'m sure he would\'ve just wheelied.\n\nGrumble Volcano:\nI unlocked the Fast Staff Ghost here too with the Wild Wing, and I don\'t do the kart justice here. Birdo\'s banana peel and ANOTHER green shell signify that I was going to have a tough time here. That was a stupid thing I did with the bob-omb, I know, I just didn\'t know what to do with it, as knowing the game would forced me to drop it with a POW or something and I would probably get hit by it. I could\'ve dropped it behind, but well, I wasn\'t thinking clearly at the time. I honestly shook when that POW came along, but it failed. I was fortunate I didn\'t go flying off the edge, however. You could see that I FINALLY managed to get to grips with the Wild Wing again on the final lap, but it was too late. Dry Bowser had landed and received his boost before I did which is why he won. Still hurts looking at it though.\n\nAnd after all the humiliation, I get an A rank. Ugh. I realise now that what has happened to me is not that I\'ve forgotten how to use Manual, but it\'s rather, I forgot the timings for karts I did use before. The Wild Wing\'s timing for drifts is faster than with say, the Honeycoupe, so I found I was always turning too late in some places. I promise I\'ll do better in the Special Cup. Cross my heart!
